Full-Time Analyst Program
Our Full-Time Analyst Program is a prestigious two-year experience at BlackRock that helps bring together personal passions with our mission. As an Analyst, you’ll join a firm of smart and ambitious professionals who will challenge you to think critically and push your boundaries. You will have the opportunity to work on interesting projects and collaborate with teams around the globe – driving innovation, shaping the future of our industry, and helping more and more people experience financial well-being. You’ll get hands-on experience, with ongoing support and mentorship to help you develop in your career.
Eligibility: Undergraduate or master’s students of all academic backgrounds graduating between September 2024 and August 2025
Duration: This is a 2-year experience. This is a 2-year experience. Analysts based in Australia complete four 6-month rotations across BlackRock teams; all other Program Analyst rotation schedules vary by business function.
Summer Internship Program
Our Summer Internship Program is an exciting eight-week experience that helps provide insight into life as a BlackRock Analyst. As an Intern, you’ll work directly with one of our many teams here at BlackRock, while engaging in thought-provoking discussions hosted by senior leaders and connecting with mentors who can help guide you through these first steps of your career. You’ll also have events throughout the summer that will help you better get to know the firm, your colleagues and your fellow Interns!
Eligibility: Undergraduate or master’s students of all academic backgrounds graduating between September 2025 and August 2026.
Duration: 8 weeks across June-August
Student Placement Program – Shanghai
Our Student Placement Program in Shanghai gives you the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be part of BlackRock. You’ll have real-world responsibility from day one and contribute to our success by helping the firm meet the evolving needs of our clients. You’ll also gain and develop new skills as you build the foundation for a successful career here.
Eligibility: Undergraduate or master’s students who are keen to commit to a six-month part-time work program in our Shanghai office. Candidates should be fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English and maintain their student status throughout the program.
Duration: Students will work on a specific team in our Shanghai office for 20 hours each week over a period of 6 months.
Apprenticeship Program – Singapore
BlackRock Singapore participates in the Polytechnic Talent for Finance Scheme, a talent development initiative supported by the Financial Sector Development Fund in partnership with the International Business Federation (IBF) Singapore. As an apprentice, you’ll get to experience firsthand what it’s like to work on a team at BlackRock. During your time here you’ll have ongoing training and opportunities for professional development.
Eligibility: Recent graduates from a local polytechnic – those who have graduated from a polytechnic or completed National Service after graduating from a polytechnic within the last two years
Duration: 12 months (full time) starting in September 2024

The BlackRock Insight Experience is a three-day journey for students interested in a 2025 summer internship opportunity.
The experience is designed to help you learn more about our business. You’ll discover what it’s like to work at the intersection of finance and technology, how our culture and principles underpin everything we do, and how your skills can add value to some of the incredible things our teams do here at BlackRock.

WOMEN OF THE MARKETS - AUSTRALIA
Women of the Markets is a one-day virtual experience for students who identify as female and are looking to join our Full-Time Analyst Program in 2026.
Women of the Markets is designed to help you learn more about our business, including how we bring together finance and technology. You’ll get to know our unique culture and gain an understanding of where you can add value at BlackRock while learning about opportunities in Sales, Strategic & Corporate Functions, Investments and Technology. This event is a great opportunity to grow your network.

Online Application
& Pre-Interview
Assessment
Enter basic details and upload your resume/CV. You'll receive a link to complete a pre-interview assessment where you record answers to questions based on the program you applied to. For software engineers, this includes a coding challenge. Applications will not be considered if the pre-interview assessment is not completed.
Interviews
Participate in virtual interviews with representatives of the function(s) of interest. These conversations will be focused on the BlackRock Principles, your experience or your capabilities and may include a group exercise, presentation or case study. For software engineers, this may include problem-solving exercises or technical questions.
