Volunteers

Through our networks, employees can access local volunteer opportunities with colleagues in their office to give back to their communities. Employees receive two days off each year to volunteer their time and talents.

Gives

Our 24 BlackRock Gives Committees, located in offices around the globe, serve as stewards of BlackRock’s philanthropic culture by awarding funding to local non-profits nominated by their colleagues each year.

Matches

We amplify the impact of your personal donations by matching your contributions to eligible organizations each year, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000 (or local equivalent). When crises hit our communities, we activate 2:1 matching campaigns for employee donations to support organizations working on the ground. We also match your volunteer time at $25 per hour.

BlackRock
Foundation

The BlackRock Foundation identifies and seeds philanthropic capital into solutions that need investment to become mainstream. For example, our Emergency Savings Initiative tests and scales savings solutions to create short-term financial stability for vulnerable workers, customers and communities.
