Job Title: Vice President, Application Engineer

Location: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001

Job Duties: Understand how the various departments use Salesforce to perform daily operations and empower user base by supporting current functionality of the Salesforce application. Enhance current workflow and build new workflows in Salesforce to increase efficiencies of the multiple business teams. Design and implement solutions based on user stories using all available tooling within the Salesforce platform, with a focus on building/enhancing Lightning Web Components and integrations. Build and maintain code, customizations, and custom REST endpoints in multiple Salesforce orgs. Be responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications using APEX, Aura Lightning Platform (AURA, LWC framework), JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, HTML, CSS, SOAP / REST Webservices. Build a robust source code, integration, and deployment environment, with familiarity to metadata API, ANT migration, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, Salesforce Dev Ops, GitHub, Jenkins and Bitbucket. Build Salesforce platform involving: Flows, Process Builder, UI Configuration, managed packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, business process automation and other custom functionality. Design, develop, document, test and modify on-going customization and adjustments to Salesforce platform. Build custom apps and objects, formula fields, flows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity. Work with development teams to implement solutions that require integrations and/or connectivity to other systems. Prepare solution documentation that includes functional designs. Evaluate Salesforce ecosystem tools frequently to bring in new capabilities that improve processes and enhance cross-functional collaboration. Administer and support installed AppExchange applications.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; and four (4) years of experience as a Vice President, Associate, Analyst, Consultant, or related role. In alternative, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; and six (6) years of experience as a Vice President, Associate, Analyst, Consultant, or related role. Four (4) years of experience with: APEX, HTML, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, and Aura; Senior Administration or Salesforce consulting with an emphasis on optimizing business processes; Sales, Service or Financial Services Cloud; Core app exchange apps including email to case premium, rollup helper, grid buddy, conga, DocuSign CLM (+), and; Salesforce data integrations. Three (3) years of experience with: Salesforce Lightning configuration & Flows, and; Solution Engineering / Architect experience on Implementation Projects. Two (2) years of experience with: Lightning Web Components and Java, and ; Certified Platform App Builder.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$200,400.00 - USD$215,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
