Aladdin Engineering (AE)
AE is a diverse and global team with a keen interest and expertise in all things related to technology and financial analytics. We are responsible building and delivering Aladdin's industry leading risk management, portfolio management, compliance and trading capabilities through robust,scalable infrastructure. We are also involvedin quantitative engineering with keen focus on financial model implementations across different areas – single-security pricing, prepayment models, risk, return attribution, liquidity and trading, optimization and portfolio construction, scenario analysis and simulations, etc. – and covering all asset classes.The QAE team partners very closely with the IAI ( Investment AI)research team and is also looking to be at the fore front of cutting edge AI engineering.
Background and Responsibilities
We are seeking looking for a talented, self-starter QuantitativeDeveloper based out of Mumbai who can contribute to the development of our analytical solutions and its supporting real time infrastructure that directly supports the trading desk. Our team uses multiple technologies and frameworks (Java/J2EE, Spring,Python, Spark,gRPC, RESTful) to provides stable, scalable platform with appropriate standards and procedures to support the diverse nature and demands of a wide range of investment teams and clients.
Qualifications:
BE/BTech degree in Computer Science or related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 4-6 years demonstrated experience in core Java programming, multi-threading and understanding of Java Memory model. Practical experience programming and code optimization for real-time data streams processing.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and tools. Agile, AzureDevOps/Jira, Git, CI/CD
Hands on working knowledge of Python is a plus.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies for distributed computing including Scala/SparkCassandra/SOLR/Ignite is a plus.
Understanding of distributed caching and microservice architecture is a plus.
Strong knowledge of financial concepts related to various asset classes and quants related to Portfolio & Liquidity Risk is a plus
Previous experience with Cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure) and working for top Tech companies is a big plus.
Experience with UNIX operating system and relational databases.
Ability and willingness to learn fast, multi-task, self-motivate and pick up new things easily
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
