Team Overview
The Global Aladdin Engineering Windows Platform Operations team comprises 20+ professionals across regions, dedicated to supporting a highly available Windows environment hosted on-premises and in the cloud. We are expanding our team in India to deepen our expertise and improve our global follow-the-sun support model.
This position focuses on deep technical operations, engineering, and automation across Citrix, Windows, and cloud infrastructure, helping evolve our next-generation platform services.
Role Summary
Looking for a Vice President – Infrastructure Technologist to join our India team as an individual contributor with deep technical expertise. This is a hands-on, high-impact engineering role—perfect for someone passionate about automation, optimization, and delivering secure, scalable infrastructure in a global enterprise.
Focus on Citrix (including Cloud and NetScaler), Windows Server automation, Azure/AWS infrastructure, and IaC tooling like Terraform and Azure DevOps. Strong scripting or coding skills are essential, as is the ability to analyze, innovate, and collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Engineer and operate Citrix infrastructure, including Citrix Cloud, DaaS, NetScaler, PVS/MCS, and VDI platforms.
Support and automate Windows Server infrastructure, primarily Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
Drive platform automation using PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps, and Terraform.
Administer hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS), including resource provisioning, automation, and cost optimization.
Maintain compliance with internal standards, InfoSec policies, and vulnerability remediation SLAs.
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvements.
Collaborate with global teams on platform modernization and lifecycle management efforts.
Troubleshoot complex system issues, including performance tuning, connectivity, and authentication problems.
Maintain high availability, support DR testing, and contribute to documentation and runbooks.
Required Experience & Skills
Expert-level knowledge in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler, MCS, and PVS.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Windows Server, Citrix, and cloud operations roles.
Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, DFS.
Operational experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms; certifications preferred.
Experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or other automation languages.
Hands-on knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and storage/networking integrations.
Deep familiarity with DR, system recovery, and HA concepts in large-scale environments.
Proven ability to operate independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively across functions.

Manager Comments
A minimum of 10+ years comparative industry experience
Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
The position will be required to work on shifts. These shifts will also cover the weekends.
Workdays could be staggered over the week.
