Job Duties: Conduct in-depth sector and market research on US and European leveraged loans and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). Develop analytics and data management skills by leveraging state of the art technology, modeling expertise, and a global risk analytics platform. Implement relative value strategies across the capital stack covering both US and European markets and mainly focused on the CLO IG risks. Create systematic leveraged loan screening and surveillance tools used in CLO management capacity. Identify attractive opportunities using relative value processes to optimize for various portfolio metrics by quantitative method. Analyze collateral and debt structures for new issue and secondary CLOs with emphasis on collateral screening and credit risk identification via SQL, Python and R tools. Play a key role on multi-disciplinary project teams including financial experts, market practitioners and technologists, assisting in leading project progress and executing key action items. Build and deploy subject matter expertise across a range of themes in order to help clients achieve their objectives, including sustainability, capital markets, data and analytics, etc. Hone a disciplined advisory approach and flexible delivery model to support our clients.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Quantitative Methods, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the offered role or related role OR a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Quantitative Methods, or a related field. Requires two (2) years of experience with Bachelor's degree or completion of a university-level course, research project, or internship with Master's degree involving the following: 1. SQL, Python, Java; expertise in Pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, PyTorch, CUDA and related tools; 2. Modeling skills, including Intex and Excel and Powerpoint. VBA and Kanerai API. Cashflow modelling fundamentals. Advanced Excel modelling skills to manage the reporting and valuation process for various funds; 3. Data visualization in Tableau; 4. Programing skills in designing and developing complex database code. Experience with AWS and RDS, and Version Control systems like Git; 5. Data structures, data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis; 6. Machine learning frameworks, including Keras and PyTorch.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$128,000.00 - USD$155,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
