Job Duties: Work within a team to assess and execute Investment Grade Private Credit investments. Conduct due diligence, facilitate private asset risk screening and other compliance approvals required for the transaction, model portfolio allocations, and coordinate with external and internal parties to ensure smooth deal settlement. Assist with portfolio management utilizing Aladdin platform to produce regular portfolio reports. Manage internal rating, watchlist, and amendment status. Monitor portfolio cash positions and work across back office teams to ensure a smooth operational experience for both internal and external clients. Coordinate with client relationship managers and product strategists on answering client inquiries and preparing client presentation materials. Track quarterly earnings and follow news/ updates on existing portfolio companies. Follow industry updates and developing themes to research on potential investments.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the offered role or related role OR a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Quantitative Methods, or a related field. Requires two (2) years of experience with Bachelor's degree or completion of a university-level course, research project, or internship with Master's degree involving the following: 1. Fixed income Portfolio management; 2. Programming including SQL/Python; 3. Fixed income analytical concepts and instrument types; 4. Operational and investment processes; and 5. Accounting and/or leveraged finance / project finance modeling.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$124,000.00 - USD$155,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
