Business Unit Overview:
The Global Product Solutions (GPS) business was formed in January 2024 with an aim of unlocking new growth opportunities across iShares, Active and Private Markets, aligning our product strategies and working with clients to develop new and customized solutions that suit their needs.
Job Purpose/Background:
The BlackRock EMEA Investment and Portfolio Solutions (IPS) team – part of one of the 5 pillars of Global GPS – works across all client channels, from iSW to ICB and GCR, to service BlackRock’s clients in the region across the spectrum of their ‘whole portfolio’ needs. For clients wishing to retain control of asset allocation and implementation, the team delivers investment strategy insights & trade ideas and portfolio consultations to develop tailored solutions in relation to asset allocation, portfolio construction and implementation. For clients wishing to outsource part, or all, of their asset allocation and implementation, the team can offer Model Portfolios as a solution to these needs.
This senior role will work to drive commercial growth of the Model Portfolios platform in EMEA, where we serve clients across with Wealth segment, including Financial Advisors, Home Offices and Digital Wealth.

Key Responsibilities:
Origination and Commercialisation: Partner with Sales to originate and drive new client opportunities. Lead efforts to drive BlackRock models asset growth with clients once they’re onboarded
Country and Client Segment Strategy: Partner with Sales to define and execute against distribution priorities on a country and client segment basis
Thought Leadership & Surround Sound: Own creation and scaled distribution of content to support client adoption and consumption of BlackRock model portfolios
Stakeholder Management: Work with and influence individuals across several partner groups (including Sales, Marketing, Investment, Legal & Compliance and Onboarding) to deliver against client opportunities and strategic initiatives
Knowledge/Experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in Sales / Solutions / Product roles within investment management, consulting or investment banking
- Experience in a client facing role essential
- Prior experience and knowledge EMEA Wealth market a plus
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, essential. The successful candidate must have the confidence and credibility to persuasively interact with colleagues, management, and clients
- Strong understanding of portfolio construction processes, including drivers of return, risk control and portfolio construction techniques a plus
- CFA / FRM / CAIA certification highly desirable a plus
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Fluent English is a prerequisite, fluency in other languages an advantage
