AboutGlobalFixed Income Team
BlackRock’s active fixed income portfolio strategies stretch across a range of investment styles and segments of the fixed income universe.The breadth and depth of our platformputsus in a strong position to potentially deliver attractive returns in various market environments. With a focus on alpha generation and risk management, the team uses a top-down view from lead portfolio managers and bottom-upexpertisefrom our sector specialists.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with AI engineers & Data Scientists to build robust backend infrastructure and engaging user interfaces for AI solutions.
Build andmaintainbackend services,pipelinesandAPIsto integrate front-end and back-end systems efficientlyensuringsmooth data flow and state management.
Architect scalable systemscapable of handling high throughput and low-latency requirements.
Implement integrationswith databases, third-party APIs, and internal microservices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelinesand deployment automation.
Implement andmaintainfront-end code using modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
Create reusable and scalable components using best practices in HTML, CSS (or SCSS), and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Participate inuser testing and feedback sessions to iterate on interface design and improve user experience.
Optimizeweb pages for maximum speed and scalability across devices and browsers.
Maintain design consistency and ensure visual quality across all web interfaces.
Troubleshoot and debugissues across the full stack, from UI to database.
Stay updated onback-end andfront-end technologies tocontributefresh ideas.
Education and Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Computer Science/Engineeringor related field.
3-7 years of experience.
Should have strongproficiencyin the following:
Frontend:React, Angular, or Vue.js(HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
Backend:Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot)
Databases:PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
Experience withRESTful andGraphQLAPIs.
Familiarity withcontainerization (Docker),CI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, GitHub Actions)andcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proficiencyinversion control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub).
Solid problem-solving skills and attention todetail.
Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and clean, efficient code.
Self-driven and results oriented team player with ability to collaborate effectively across geographies/time zones
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for solving interesting and relevant real-world problems in Finance.
Prior experience infinancial services or large-scale enterprise systemsis a plus.
