About this role

Role Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Cloud Quality Assurance Lead to drive quality initiatives across our cloud transformation programs. This role will serve as the central QA authority for all cloud-related projects, including multi-cloud and cloud-native computing initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), quality practices, and modern QA methodologies to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud QA Strategy & Governance

  • Define and implement QA strategies tailored to cloud-native and multi-cloud environments.

  • Establish quality standards, metrics, and best practices for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with Cloud Architecture, DevOps, and Security teams to align QA processes with cloud governance.

Test Automation & Tooling

  • Lead the design and implementation of automation for testing cloud services.

  • Evaluate and integrate cloud-native testing.

  • Drive performance, scalability, and chaos testing for cloud workloads.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the QA liaison across multiple project teams, ensuring consistency and knowledge sharing.

  • Mentor QA engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to implement observability practices and validate SLAs/SLOs.

  • Use telemetry data to proactively identify and address quality issues in production.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7-10 years in Quality Assurance, with 3+ years focused on cloud-based systems.

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP preferred.

  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., PlayWright, Postman, JMeter).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

  • Solid understanding of microservices, containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Strong project management skills (Agile)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.

  • Experience with AI/ML model validation in cloud environments.

  • Knowledge of FinOps and cost-aware testing strategies.
