About this role

BlackRock presents an exclusive dual career development initiative, spanning a six-month paid program, with the possibility of permanent employment afterwards, tailored for professional athletes. This program is designed to empower participants by honing their professional acumen, deepening their comprehension of asset management, and providing a robust foundation for future careers within the financial services industry.

Roles:

Technology Solutions

The Aladdin Client Services (ACS) team offers assistance to both external clients worldwide and internal stakeholders concerning the firm's technology products. Team delivers exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring prompt problem resolution.

Aladdin Revenue Marketing

The revenue marketing team collaborates closely with the business development teams to enhance and promote the brand, build a strong deal pipeline, design commercial campaigns, and create content that showcases our solution suite, positioning us as innovators and thought leaders.

Client Engagement

The Alternative Clients Engagement (ACE) team owns relationships with clients to understand their business objectives and needs as well as help them leverageBlackRock expertise to achieve their firm’s goals. ACE team also pursues harvesting / cross and upsell opportunities and eliminates / mitigates churn risk in order to increase client health scores.

Aladdin Engineering

Aladdin Engineering (AE) development teamscollaboratively build the next generation of technology that changes the way information, people, and technology intersect for global investment firms. Aladdin Engineering builds and packages tools that manage trillions of assets and support millions of financial instruments. They perform risk calculations and process millions of transactions for thousands of users every day worldwide.

Eligibility principles and criteria:

  • Individual who has competed as a player or a coach on a professional level in their respective sport

  • Individual who has competed as a player or a coach on a national or international level in their respective sport

Applicants for this program should:

  • Be able to evidence/reference an interest in financial markets

  • Be able to demonstratehigh levels of self-motivation and team orientation

  • Be a clear and confident communicator

  • Have a client service orientation

  • Be fluent in English

  • Cover letter is desirable

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
