2026 Japan University Internship Program
Job description
The Japan University Internship Program is open to students at universities in Japan, graduating between September 2027 and August 2028.
This program offers participants the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the asset management industry and BlackRock’s business, while experiencing the firm’s culture and day-to-day work through hands-on exposure across multiple teams.
The Japan Domestic University internship takes place in-person at our Tokyo office from August 24 – 28, 2026. During the internship, participants will attend firmwide sessions introducing BlackRock as an organization, alongside practical work experience and project-based learning within different business areas. Interns will also have opportunities to interact with employees and learn more about career paths in finance, asset management, and technology.
This program is intended for students who are interested in finance and technology and may serve as an early step toward consideration for the 2028 Full-Time Analyst Program.
Eligibility:
Undergraduate or master’s students studying at universities in Japan, graduating between September 2027 and August 2028.
Language requirement:
Business fluency in both English and Japanese is required. Candidates whose first language is not Japanese should demonstrate Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1.
