YOUR TEAM
The Global Corporate Actions team operates as a unified organization across Edinburgh, Wilmington, Gurgaon, and Singapore. Through a globally integrated operating model, the team delivers high-quality corporate action services supported by strong governance, risk management, and operational controls. This model enables seamless collaboration across regions and continuous support for BlackRock and its clients.
Within the Global Corporate Actions organization, the Entitlements team is responsible for validating corporate action events and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of cash and stock entitlements across global markets.
YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
As a Vice President within Corporate Actions, you will lead the Entitlements function and play a key role in delivering operational excellence across a critical investment operations process. You will provide leadership and oversight for daily production activities while strengthening risk management practices, enhancing controls, and driving process improvements that improve efficiency and scalability.
Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, service providers, custodians, and clients, you will help ensure the accurate execution of corporate action events and a high-quality client experience. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives that support the continued evolution of BlackRock's global operating model.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee daily Entitlements production activities, ensuring operational excellence, effective controls, and timely processing.
Manage operational issues and escalations, mitigating risk and ensuring clear and timely stakeholder communication.
Oversee reconciliation processes and drive the prompt investigation and resolution of exceptions.
Develop and enhance reporting, metrics, and governance frameworks that support service quality, operational transparency, and accountability.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams, clients, custodians, service providers, and regional leadership.
Lead local, regional, and global initiatives while identifying automation and process improvement opportunities that support a scalable operating model.
Develop team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement while remaining informed of industry developments impacting Corporate Actions and investment operations.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Experience leading Corporate Actions or related investment operations teams, with a strong understanding of financial markets and investment management.
Knowledge of corporate action processing, operational controls, reconciliations, and risk management practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and coach high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
Experience leading projects, driving operational change, and delivering process improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with securities lending and its impact on the corporate actions lifecycle is beneficial.
