About Strategic Program Team
The Aladdin-Data’s Strategic Program Team serves as the central engine for cross-functional delivery and transformation across Data Platform and related enterprise-wide initiatives. Operating as a connective layer between product, engineering, and business teams, the office drives clarity, collaboration, control, and communication. It is responsible for defining program goals, establishing governance, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring delivery against firmwide priorities. Through rigorous planning, stakeholder engagement, and performance monitoring, the office enables scalable change and orchestrates multi-year programs that support commercial outcomes and client success.
Your role and impact
The Analytics Production Transformation Program is a multi-year initiative focused on evolving BlackRock’s analytics data factory into a utility-grade, event-driven production pipeline. With over 50 workstreams and hundreds of contributors, the program targets improvements in data quality, delivery timeliness, platform resiliency, and operator experience. As Program Manager within the Strategic Program Team, you will lead initiatives that span data orchestration, AI-driven tooling, and production stability - delivering scalable, resilient, and high-performing analytics solutions. This role demands deep expertise in program management, technical fluency in data platforms, and the ability to drive transformation across complex delivery workflows.
Responsibilities and requirements include
Own the roadmap and execution of Analytics production transformation initiatives aligned with strategic objectives
Drive modernization efforts including migration to stream-based analytics, microservices, and unified data stores
Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver high-impact programs
Govern production workflow optimizations across production domains including pricing, risk, and client reporting
Monitor and improve key performance metrics (e.g., delivery reliability, quality)
Lead initiatives to reduce custom packages, optimize task throughput, and enhance delivery timelines
Collaborate on AI product lifecycle initiatives including model incubation, scaling, and governance
Support deployment of AI Ops and Generative AI tooling across Analytics production environments
Act as a strategic liaison between Analytics Production, Data Ops, and enterprise teams.
Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and external partners.
Facilitate alignment across squads, chapters, and product owners.
Implement quality control frameworks and peer review protocols for Analytics data integrity
Oversee vendor dependencies and third-party integrations with proactive monitoring and escalation.
Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
Your Experience
10+ years of program management experience, preferably in analytics, data operations, or financial technology.
Proven track record of leading complex, multi-year transformation programs.
Strong understanding of analytics production workflows, data orchestration, and AI tooling.
Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred)
