Job Title: Associate, Securities Lending Operations

Location: 100 Bellevue Parkway, Wilmington, DE 19809

Job Duties: Analyze financial transaction data to manage security lending transactions and ensure timely loan and return settlement in all global markets. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the lifecycle of a trade. Manage counterparty risks by ensuring to collect appropriate collateral and perform mart to market on a daily basis. Calculate margin requirements to ensure compliance with internal and client guidelines, and provide reporting to auditors, management and clients. Mitigate securities lending risks by reviewing sufficiency management and taking appropriate actions to client investment portfolios. Reduce operational risks by following established procedures and perform appropriate controls (including cash, security and collateral reconciliations), while exercising good judgment in managing risk and following escalation procedures. Collaborate closely with internal IT, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Engineering teams, as well as external providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and lead the development of new applications to improve effectiveness and reduce errors. Support the continued evolution of the Securities Lending technology platform and optimization of global process model. Drive process optimization and efficiency gains by designing and implementing advanced automation solutions. Utilize a diverse set of tools and languages, including VBA for Excel, SQL, Python, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies like Blue Prism, as well as ATX, to streamline workflows and processes. Utilize data-driven approaches and industry best practices to guide decision-making and strategy formulation. Prioritize root-cause analysis and resolution initiatives to mitigate risks and enhance Straight Through Process (STP) rate. Number of direct reports may vary.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Business Administration with a focus on Analytics or Economics or a related field and 2 years of experience in the offered role or related role including 2 years of experience in the following: 1. Experience with various programming languages such as Python, SQL, VBA for Excel; 2. Using Relational Databases to manage data using SQL Server; 3. RPA technologies like Blue Prism or ATX to streamline workflow ops; 4. Security Lending Operations; 5. Operations Risk Management; 6. Cash and Asset Reconciliation; 7. Trade and Collateral Management.
