About this role
We are looking to add a team member to our Capital Markets Data Services team in Delaware. This team is part of the Aladdin Data organization within Aladdin. The core focus of the team is to provide consistent data capture related to public and private new issue investments, and dissemination of the data to various downstream consumers and systems.
This role will provide broad exposure to to the operational aspects of public and private new issue investments, including private credit, private equity, hedge funds, SPACs, and other non-traditional financial products. Qualified candidates will demonstrate existing knowledge of, or eagerness & enthusiasm to learn about alternatives and the essential data required to manage such products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onboarding support for the data capture of alternative products and investment types, which includes sourcing data from legal documents and received from third parties, and coordinating input of data into internal systems.
- Assist in the onboarding of alternative products and investments process; including exposure to investment/trade, cash management, valuation, PnL recognition and reconciliation processes and related system implementation.
- Assist in trading support and execution functions for private investment funds, including monitoring internal and external teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Work with external service providers, internal team members and other BlackRock groups to transmit and receive product and asset related data, and resolve operational issues, as identified.
- Prepare process documentation and controls for the team’s core responsibilities, and ensure they are updated and reviewed regularly.
- Participate in other group projects and initiatives to assist in building out the new Private Data Operations Platform
Experience and Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience in the fields of investment and/or private credit operations, data management, accounting and/or administration within the financial industry. A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field is preferred. Experience with credit agreements and working knowledge of private loans is a plus.
In addition, we are looking for the following qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of or interest in alternative investment products, including private credit, hedge funds, private equity funds, structured products, and complex capital and investment structures.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Proficient Excel skills.

For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$85,000.00 - USD$117,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
