About this role

We are seeking a highly capable, emotionally intelligent, and forward-thinking Administrative Business Partner to support senior executives within our Technology organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces innovation, and consistently seeks modern, efficient ways to work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and a strong command of Microsoft 365 tools, including AI and automation features, to drive operational excellence and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Execution and Operational Support

  • Manage complex calendars, travel arrangements, and stakeholder engagements, leveraging AI-powered scheduling and automation features.
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external events, including logistics such as venues, transportation, and catering.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively address tasks with minimal direction, using intelligent workflows to stay ahead of priorities.
  • Prioritize effectively between critical and time-sensitive tasks to ensure smooth execution.
  • Remain composed and resourceful in new or unpredictable situations.
  • Drive key deliverables to completion and resolve scheduling conflicts with professionalism and discretion.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and appropriately for different audiences and situations.
  • Facilitate collaboration and information flow across teams.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture by resolving conflicts constructively and fostering trust.
  • Share updates and insights regularly to support team alignment and transparency.

Technology Proficiency and AI Adoption

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Leverage automation and AI features in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams to improve productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Stay current with tech updates as an early adopter and apply new features to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Champion digital-first approaches to administrative work and encourage adoption of modern tools across the team.

Organizational Insight and Leadership Support

  • Understand team priorities and align administrative support with strategic goals.
  • Own and continuously improve administrative processes while ensuring compliance with firmwide policies.
  • Share best practices and support peers in adopting efficient workflows.
  • Handle confidential information with sound judgment and a high level of discretion.

Mindset and Growth

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and remain open to new approaches and technologies.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset by seeking opportunities to learn and improve.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administrative or business operations roles supporting senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including AI and automation features.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$70,000.00 - USD$125,000.00 which is the equivalent of USD$33.65 - USD$60.10 per hour. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
