About this role

We are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Administrative Business Partner to support senior leaders within the Enterprise Solutions organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills, and operates with a high level of emotional intelligence and professionalism. As a strategic partner to the leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and enabling the success of enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Execution & Operational Support

  • Provide strategic calendar management and itinerary coordination for executives, including travel, meetings, agendas, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Plan and execute internal and external events, managing logistics such as venue, transportation, and catering.
  • Anticipate needs and take initiative to address tasks before being asked.
  • Prioritize effectively between critical and urgent tasks, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Navigate new and unpredictable situations with resourcefulness and composure.
  • Drive key deliverables and open items to completion, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and managing expectations.

Interpersonal & Communication Excellence

  • Communicate with clarity, directness, and respect, adjusting tone and approach based on audience.
  • Facilitate collaboration and information flow across teams and stakeholders.
  • Resolve conflicts constructively and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Share ideas and updates regularly, contributing to team success and alignment.

Technical Proficiency

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms.
  • Leverage automation and advanced features in Outlook, Word, and communication tools to enhance productivity.
  • Stay current with technology updates and apply them to improve workflows.

Knowledge & Expertise

  • Understand team priorities, strategies, and the role of administration in achieving goals.
  • Own and manage administrative processes, ensuring compliance with firmwide policies.
  • Share best practices and replicate successful administrative models across teams.
  • Provide guidance and training to peers when procedures are updated.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administrative or business operations roles supporting senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$80,000.00 - USD$145,000.00 which is the equivalent of USD$38.46 - USD$69.71 per hour. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$70,000.00 - USD$125,000.00 which is the equivalent of USD$33.65 - USD$60.10 per hour. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
