The Aladdin Client Engagement (ACE) Group manages the partnerships formed with each Aladdin client.  The ACE is the trusted advisor, problem solver and business partner to Aladdin clients.  They are the key point of contact and are charged with driving and deepening the relationship over time.  The ACE is highly focused on understanding the needs and evolving priorities of client organizations and on providing investment process solutions that leverage the capabilities of the entire BlackRock Solutions organization.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The ACE is actively seeking a Vice President to help manage a set of high profile sophisticated clients in Pension/Asset Management/Insurance/Banking industry and Official Institutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engagement of client’s key stakeholders and account planning. Be a trusted partner of our clients.

  • Engage multiple stakeholders and connect with broader BlackRock relationship.

  • Understand client objectives, investment & trading strategies and market events.

  • Strategic and consultative, to have discussions around regulatory requirements, workflow, systems best practice, or peer setup.

  • Creating and delivering client commercial strategy, both harvesting and churn, together with team.

  • New business from harvesting. Also work with Aladdin Business Development to expand our business.

  • New product adoption. Ensure clients are taking full advantage of Aladdin’s capabilities.

  • Influence strategy of Aladdin product through client conversations and deliver.

  • Drive client-initiated strategic projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity and curiosity in market and industry trends.

  • Strategic and consultative. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients.

  • Keen client-focused spirit, team player and commercial mind-set.

  • >3 years relevant experience and knowledge in financial technology, financial products, investment management, investment operations and/or risk management of broad asset classes e.g., equity, fixed income, derivatives and preferably alternatives that may include;

    • Asset allocation

    • Risk management

    • Portfolio management/construction

    • Performance and attribution

    • Order management, execution management

    • Trade operations and trade reporting

    • Position and cash management including corporate action management

    • Investment guideline monitoring

    • Data management

  • Business level Japanese as well as English language skills. Business level language skills in other Asian language (e.g., Korean) is a plus.
