About this role

Business Unit Overview

The resource will join the Israeli local office in Tel Aviv to lead the Wealth Team in Israel as Vice President. The Israeli Wealth team covers a wide range of distributors like Banks, Private Banks, IFA and Digital players, this person will be responsible for the commercialization of BlackRock investment products, such as iShares ETFs, Active funds and Private market products.

Key responsibilities

In this role, the new resource will lead the Israeli Wealth team with 1 resource and will oversee the wealth market (Banks, Private Banks, IFA and Digital players) executing on defined commercial priorities, scaling the existing service model, and creating synergies across different teams in the Tel Aviv office and in EMEA.

Main responsibilities will be:

  • Define a clear clients engagement strategy identifying priorities and key actions.

  • Coverage of the assigned clients taking care of an accurate mapping, key decision makers interactions and commercial presentations/meetings to establish long term relationships and to ensure a Best-in-Class service.

  • Reinforce the coverage of specific Tier 1 clients to ensure an appropriate coverage in coordination with the the local Country Head

  • Develop and refine partnership propositions that align with the company’s strategic goals and market opportunities

  • Monitoring of assigned clients’ Book of Business evolution to identify opportunities or flag risks. Focus on Asset evolution, Gross Sales, Nee revenues.

  • Ensure an adequate CRM maintenance: record activities, pipeline, Wins (flows or Buy List)

  • Take the ownership of managing client events, training sessions, presentations, educational sessions as speaker and further development of such formats.

  • Support in developing analyses on industry dynamics, business and clients covered.

  • Deliver strategic projects for the Israeli Wealth team that might include new local listing of ETFs or new distribution of BlackRock products

  • Cooperate with other BlackRock’s local and central function to ensure a top-quality coverage and level of service of the assigned clients. This includes working with local functions and also central functions.

  • Provide leadership and direction, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Experience/Qualifications/Skills

  • Deep knowledge of the local industry and dynamics on Index,  Active and Private Markets

  • Experience of working in a commercial environment

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to excellence and attention to details

  • Ability to build influential relationships both internally and externally at all levels

  • Self-motivated, results driven and able to establish clear priorities for achieving goals

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, have a positive work attitude and deliver under tight deadlines

  • Proficient in written and spoken English

  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • A previous experience in a financial institution, preferably an asset management company or bank
