About this role
The Taiwan Marketing team in BlackRock sets the strategic direction and implements marketing plans for client business in Taiwan. It is the responsibility of this team to raise brand awareness and drive preference of our investment capabilities, including analyzing the return on investment to inform and evolve future activities.
BlackRock is seeking a motivated individual to join the Taiwan Marketing team, based in Taipei, to drive integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives to support the strategic priorities for both retail and institutional business in Taiwan. This role reports to the Head of Taiwan Marketing, who is based locally.The successful candidate will collaborate closely with local and regional marketing teams, corporate communications, client business, and product teams to shape marketing strategy and deliver impactful initiatives.A key part of the role involves ongoing performance analysis of marketing campaigns to assess commercial impact and refine future efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and drive strategic marketing plans that drive our Wealth and Institutional business growth to deliver upon BlackRock’s financial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with regional marketing teams (from digital, events, content and iShares etc.) and partner with investment teams, product strategists, client business teams, APAC Corporate Communications and Compliance to implement marketing solutions.
- Design, drive and implement strategic marketing campaigns that align with the Taiwan wealth business priorities. You will lead in crafting the campaign’s content messaging and strategy, campaign materials, and activation strategies to successfully deliver product materials to the intended target audience.
- Lead and review the existing suite of fund marketing materials. This includes developing new marketing materials for fund launches and representing marketing in new business projects.
- Being the brand ambassador to drive marketing strategy and brand awareness, raises familiarity and preference with our clients.
- Plan for and implement campaigns within allocated marketing budget, and partner with third-party agencies or vendors where necessary.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Marketing colleagues and client business teams across geographies and channels to ensure our content reaches the relevant people across all client segments.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives are compliant and implemented within BlackRock guidelines, controls and processes; ensuring risks are identified and resolved.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services, ideally within asset management, banking, or wealth management.
- Exceptional communication skills in both Chinese and English, written and verbal. Strong ability to write, edit, and proofread marketing copy.
- Deep understanding of the investment management industry, including investment products, client segments, and the competitive landscape.
- Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for delivering compelling messages in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future needs and develop thoughtful solutions. Comfortable executing tactical marketing initiatives independently with strong attention to detail.
- Data-driven and commercially minded. Able to leverage insights and past experience to challenge conventional approaches and drive impact.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with intellectual curiosity and robust analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
- Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and peers without direct authority. Proven ability to work effectively across teams in a large, matrixed organization.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and energetic. Demonstrates excellence in time management, prioritization, and execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, navigate ambiguity, and integrate diverse inputs while maintaining timelines.
- Collaborative team player who actively connects across local, regional, and global teams to identify synergies and extend impact beyond immediate responsibilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
