About this role

We are looking for a new team member to join the APAC Regional Sales Support (RSS) Team, based in Taiwan. Established in August 2025, the Regional Sales Support team is dedicated to enabling growth and delivering value for clients across all markets. Our mission is to provide innovative, curated, and commercially focused support that empowers our regional sales teams.

The team works closely with Client Business to support a growing regional client base and ensure smooth daily operations in partnership with functional teams across APAC. This role has a focus on providing reliable operational sales support while also leveraging technology and data to produce analytics that help sales teams engage effectively with Wealth and Institutional clients across the region.

The role holder will partner closely with sales teams and technology teams, to ingest and manage client data, maintain data quality, automate data processes and ensure that management information and analytics deliver maximum business impact.  Furthermore, collaborate with internal technology teams on infrastructure, tools, processes, standards, and development, as well as other data science and analytics teams across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and client-focused, ensuring outcomes align with business objectives and client needs. The role requires a passion for technology, data, and clients; comfort working across a range of technology capabilities, including databases, software, and infrastructure; and a love of solving complex problems while maintaining highest data quality and creating high-impact insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a crucial part in driving APAC sales support, making a meaningful impact on client business and contributing to the overall success of our regional operations

  • Tasks will include preparing internal/client reports, factsheets, and managing essential internal sales support processes

  • Ideate and support process redesign and automation, using AI and other tools within the Regional Sales Support Team to achieve streamlined processes and efficiency gains.

  • Use cutting-edge tools to develop management information reporting and analytics that empower sales and service teams across APAC.

  • Refine ambiguous questions, generate hypotheses, deliver analysis, and develop a data-backed viewpoint of sales and distribution performance.

  • Collaborate with other data science and analytics teams across the firm on best practices, code review, internal tools, and process automation improvements.

  • Consolidate data input from multiple sources to produce internal recurring and ad-hoc reports.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Strong skills in Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA for automation

  • Experience with PowerBI for delivering management information and reporting

  • Experience in data extraction from multiple sources using SQL and Python.

  • Familiarity with data governance and quality best practices to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

  • Highly quantitative, with a keen eye for extracting insights from large data volumes.

  • Proactive, flexible, self-motivated approach to problem solving.

  • Ability to collaborate with and present to both technical and non-technical partners.

  • Knowledge of the asset management industry and financial products is a plus.

  • Preferred experience in Financial Services and related Client, Business, or Marketing Analytics.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin. Proficiency in Japanese is plus.

  • The role requires Professional Licenses: SITCA licensing (Senior Securities Specialist or Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Professionals).
