Job Purpose/Background

Are you passionate about servicing clients and exceeding their expectations? In this position you will be able to put all your skills to work and help develop existing relationships and growth of the client book in the Nordics. Our NordicWealth Team promotes the full spectrum of BlackRock / iShares / Private Markets products, solutions and services to Wealth and Asset Managers. Our clients are institutional investors, global and multi-national banks, wealth managers and independent advisors. Our clients are based across Nordics and Baltics.

The position will be based in Stockholm as part of the Nordic Sales Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • As an Analyst Relationship Manager, you will help building connections with our client groups; support improving and grow sales across our platform, including ETFs, alternatives, mutual funds and bespoke solutions, in order to deliver aspirational financial results measured by AUM, net new assets and revenue targets.
  • Supporting the development and execution of account strategies jointly with the team- or account lead.
  • Support senior team members as needed, for example by making presentations, researching, sourcing data, and talking points before meetings and communicating with clients professionally and excellently on their behalf.
  • Coordinate and deliver complex client due diligence meetings that may involve working with various internal stakeholders and creating bespoke materials/presentations.
  • Arrange and manage investor roadshows and certain special events that are key to the teams fundraising efforts.
  • Assist in client follow up, requests and analysis as opportunities progress. Using strong organisational skills to keep track of all client work deadlines, collaborating proactively with internal teams to ensure delivery on time and with high quality standards.  
  • Partnering with subject matter specialists and senior leadership across the functions to prioritize partner demands.
  • Handle day to day business flow and deliver service excellence (pre-trade guidance, product comparisons, cost analytics, client holding analysis)
  • Follow all regulatory and legal standards
  • Collaboration and information sharing with other Wealth sales teams globally
  • Contribution to the delivery of annual target of net new assets, generated from existing and new clients
  • Maintain and develop dialog with respective product development and marketing departments
  • Arranging client meetings, organizing road shows and conference calls with Portfolio Managers or Product Specialists

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Knowledge about financial products and especially active managed funds, Private Markets for Wealth Products and ETFs – preferably with some experience in selling investment products to sophisticated investors and handling client relationships
  • Willingness to gradually take account ownership and strategically develop relationships; position investment ideas and other valuable services generating sales and assets
  • Understanding of capital markets and the Wealth and institutional landscape
  • Outgoing nature who puts client-interest first and loves to work in a highly dynamic and ambitious environment
  • The individual must be an upbeat self-starter with professional pride and a dedication to perfection and improvement; she or he is a standout colleague with a “can-do” attitude and a pragmatic flexibility; further, the successful candidate will be organized and entrepreneurial, possessing outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Swedish (additional Nordic languages considered beneficial) and English.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • University degree in business administration, economics, finance, or in another field.
  • CFA, CIIA and/or CAIA would be of advantage but not preconditioned
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex projects involving different business groups and to assist the business in implementing solutions across the broad range of BlackRock products and services.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Extensive experience in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in at least one of the Nordic languages and English
  • Outstanding communicator with strong influencing skills together with an ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
