The Thailand Wealth team is responsible for understanding market dynamics and client needs across Thailand’s wealth landscape and translating these into commercial opportunities for the business. The team partners with private banks, consumer banks, securities firms, insurance companies, digital wealth platforms, and asset management partners to deliver the breadth of BlackRock’s investment capabilities across active, index, ETFs, and alternatives.
We work closely with clients to deliver tailored investment solutions aligned with evolving investor objectives, while leveraging BlackRock’s global investment platform, portfolio construction expertise, and technology capabilities. The role partners extensively with regional and global colleagues to bring the best of BlackRock to Thailand’s wealth investors.
Job Purpose / Background
BlackRock’s Thailand Wealth business is seeking a Vice President to lead and deepen relationships with key wealth clients in Thailand. The primary responsibility is to drive commercial engagement with clients, contribute to local wealth distribution strategy, and deliver business growth through high-quality client coverage, strategic partnership development, and investment solution positioning.
The role requires close collaboration across regional and global teams including product specialists, portfolio management, marketing, and client business functions across APAC, EMEA, and the US to deliver the firm’s capabilities to Thai wealth investors. You will be responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships across private banks, retail banks, securities firms, insurance channels, and wealth platforms in Thailand. The role also involves identifying market trends, client needs, and commercial opportunities to support product development initiatives and broader business priorities. Success in this role requires delivering BlackRock’s value proposition and investment capabilities effectively to clients, while helping partners achieve their business objectives and better outcomes for end-investors. Reporting to the Head of Thailand Client Business (or SEA Wealth leadership), the successful candidate should possess strong knowledge of Thailand’s wealth landscape, including key distributors and evolving investor trends. A solid understanding of investment products across mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, and portfolio solutions is important, while familiarity with sustainable investing and private markets would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, relationship management skills, and the ability to operate effectively within a highly matrixed, global organization. Intellectual curiosity, a growth mindset, and the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally are critical for success in this role.
