The Aladdin Client Engagement team (ACE) manages the partnerships formed with each Aladdin client. ACE is the trusted advisor, problem solver and business partner to Aladdin clients. They are the key point of contact and are charged with driving and deepening the relationship over time. ACE is highly focused on understanding the needs and evolving priorities of client organizations and on providing investment process solutions that leverage the capabilities of the entire Aladdin organization. RESPONSIBILITIES
Build strong relationship with client’s key stakeholders that may include Chief Investment Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Head Portfolio Managers, Head of Investment Operations, Chief Technology Officer. Be a trusted partner of our clients.
Engage the client's key stakeholders for the Aladdin relationship and broader BlackRock relationship.
Understand client objectives, investment & trading strategies and market events.
Strategic and consultative, to have discussions around regulatory requirements, workflow, systems best practice, or peer setup.
Account planning and drive client commercial strategy, both harvesting and churn, together with team. Also work with Aladdin Business Development to expand our business.
New product adoption. Ensure clients are taking full advantage of Aladdin’s capabilities.
Influence strategy of Aladdin product through client conversations and deliver.
Drive client-initiated strategic projects. Coordinate projects across multiple stakeholders (e.g., clients, internal partner teams).
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Korean market practice, regulatory requirements and industry trends.
Strategic and consultative. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients.
Keen client-focused spirit, team player and commercial mind-set.
7+ years relevant experience and knowledge in financial services, technology, consulting or buy side firm. Knowledge of financial products, investment management, investment operations and/or risk management of broad asset classes e.g., equity, fixed income, derivatives and preferably alternatives that may include;
Asset allocation
Risk management
Portfolio management/construction
Performance and attribution
Order management, execution management
Trade operations and trade reporting
Position and cash management including corporate action management
Investment guideline monitoring
Data management
Business fluent in both Korean and English.
