Job Title: Vice President – Head of Health & Safety (H&S) - AMER

Location: 1 University Square Drive, Princeton, NJ 8540

Job Duties: Oversee and support the delivery of H&S programs and initiatives in the Americas including, but not limited to, Emerging Health Concerns and Pandemic Response, Emergency Preparedness, Workplace Injury and Illness Prevention, Travel and Event Safety. Act as the regional subject matter expert for regulatory requirements and program areas and ensure alignment with the global program. Support the development and coordination of new H&S program areas in partnership with the global team. Work cross-functionally with internal partners to ensure compliance with BlackRock H&S standards and local regulations. Support H&S regulatory reviews and compliance verification initiatives. Manage relationships with stakeholders across the region. Up to 20% domestic travel required.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Environmental Engineering, or other Health & Safety related field; and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In lieu of a degree, employer will accept 8 years of work experience with NEBOSH certification.

Requires fluency in Spanish.

Requires 6 years of experience involving each of the following:

1.         H&S program operations or risk management in Americas Region (US, Canada, and Latin America);

2.         Regulations related to safety, environmental and occupational health;

3.         H&S program coordination including monitoring and reporting program success through metrics using technologies like Microsoft Excel and Access;

4.         Working in a matrix organization: collaboration across functions with complex project work providing deliverables to project managers outside of functional reporting lines.

Salary: $133,200 – 145,000
