This role will serve as a HR Officer, aligned to a series of Continental European countries, playing a critical role in enhancing HR support to the aligned countries by partnering with operational teams across the region, HRBPs and beyond to ensure a smooth employee experience. To be successful in this role, you will need to build strong relationships across HR and the Firm, learn the business, its leaders and organizational structure and problem solve across a wide range of HR topics.
Main activities :
Work in close partnership with HR Operational teams as well as HRBP striving to scale and streamline processes and ensure all processes are compliant. The role will lead the ongoing work to address process gap and issues for the countries in scope.
Ensure processes and methodology are documented and shared with the appropriate team members in HR Ops to capitalize the experience and further use
Initiate implementation of small/mid-size project teams within HR when encountering complex and recurring issues
Partner with relevant operational teams to drive local operational deliverables such as local regulatory reporting (leveraging Workday reporting), 2nd level support for local HR requests
Point of contact for local authorities for execution of external obligations, working closely with partners in HR Operations, such as Reward Operations and DEI
Assist EMEA HR Operations in triaging local operational issues
Drive working groups across HR Operations team to solve escalations and operating events with a mindset of continuous improvements
You need to have:
3+ years of experience as an HR professional or HR consultant across a number of Continental Europe countries, working for a global firm
HR knowledge and experience in France
Native in French, fluent in English. An additional language like Italian or Spanish is a plus.
Demonstrated reporting and analytical skills, fluency with MS Office, and ability to summarize information tailored to different audiences
Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and high standards for accuracy
Strong project management skills with ability to anticipate and hit deadlines related to client deliverables
Fast learner, proactive, agile, adaptable with ability to function in a fast changing, global environment
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities, and can partner regionally and globally to facilitate these improvements
We’d love to see:
Knowledge in the Asset management/Finance or Software industry
Experience with Workday
Excellent interpersonal and partnership skills
Commercial acumen and demonstrated interest in financial services and/or technology
Ability to communicate to a professional standard
Education Requirement:
BA/Bsc degree or equivalent; (certifications and course work in specific areas of HR expertise preferred)
