About the Role
BlackRock's U.S. Individual Investor Marketing team seeks a strategic marketing leader to spearhead product- and growth-focused initiatives for our Individual Investor audience. In this pivotal role, you'll drive comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns across the full client journey, with direct impact on growing BlackRock's U.S. Direct business. 

Team & Impact
You'll be an integral part of a dynamic marketing organization, collaborating closely with U.S. Direct, Paid Media, and Product teams, as well as creative agencies. In this role, you'll shape the vision for how consumer marketing drives commercial outcomes, and lead execution across channels. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrated marketing strategies for priority products, encompassing both paid campaigns and owned channels to drive measurable business results. 
  • Champion data-driven decision-making by developing research initiatives that inform product strategy and marketing approach. Synthesize user data and research to inform campaign concepts and decisions. 
  • Provide insights to inform creative strategy, diversification of creative assets needs, and testing of creative in market. 
  • Keep close track of industry trends and events, from markets to products to individual investor behavior. 
  • Oversee acquisition funnel and develop user flows and growth models to identify opportunities that feed into acquisition strategy. 
  • Develop and optimize a comprehensive growth strategy to drive measurable revenue impact. 
  • Build a customer journey strategy that uses customer segmentation to connect paid media, landing pages, email, sales, and other channels. 
  • Recommend new channels and platforms to better reach audiences. 
  • Partner with Paid Media Manager for day-to-day paid media execution, testing, and campaign tracking. 
  • Own the experimentation/learning agenda to identify opportunities to improve the funnel through optimization of channels and audiences. 
  • Set KPIs, track, and build reports on the efficiency of marketing activities, and show impact on business goals. Drive continuous optimization of marketing programs. 
  • Own and manage ROAS, helping to define important metrics and targets to deliver against that improve payback period. 
  • Partner with a cross-functional team of brand marketers, creatives, content experts, product marketing managers, engineers, and external agencies to bring concepts to life. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 9-12 years of progressive experience in financial marketing, with demonstrated success in consumer-focused campaigns. 
  • Understanding of ETF markets and products, including their competitive landscape and value propositions. 
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end marketing campaigns and managing creative agency workstreams. 
  • Outstanding project management capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Exceptional leadership presence with demonstrated ability to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders. 
  • Superior communication skills, particularly in translating complex financial concepts into compelling marketing narratives. 
  • Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated history of driving business growth through marketing initiatives. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the creativity and drive to elevate marketing standards. 
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output. 
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$130,000.00 - USD$173,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
