Overview
The Vice President, HR Business Partner for Aladdin will be part of a Global HRBP team collectively focused on shaping and delivering Aladdin’s talent agenda and responsible for partnering with leaders across Aladdin to drive talent outcomes and work on key initiatives. This is a great opportunity to take on responsibility with a dynamic and growing business. Aladdin is BlackRock’s centralized operating platform integrating risk, investment and client management processes delivered to clients around the world to enable scale, provide insights and support business transformation. This individual will be part of a Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) team collectively focused on shaping and delivering Aladdin’s tailored talent agenda.

Key Responsibilities:
Play a role in the design and management of talent projects in support of our business strategy and operational priorities
Provide advice and guidance on various topics including performance management, leadership development, compensation, succession planning, coaching, and talent reviews
Work on high-impact engagement activities, with an emphasis on employee experience and talent & culture initiatives
Partner with the Employee Relations and legal counsel on the identification, escalation, risk mitigation and resolution of employee relations issues
Partner with managers and recruiting to develop hiring plans that support business objectives and advance business priorities
Support the business through organizational changes and development as needed
Your clients/colleagues will depend on you to:
Establish an effective partnership with your business leaders to help drive and influence talent decisions, providing advice and expertise
Demonstrate an understanding of the vision, purpose, and strategy of Aladdin and design and implement a relevant and commercial strategy
Support informed decision making by using data to identify trends; work with business leaders to determine root cause of issues and develop organizational effective solutions
Effectively partner with the global HR function, including other Business Partners, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Practices, and Total Rewards to execute business priorities and solutions
You need to have:
At least 5 years of HR Business Partner experience with strong talent and employee relations experience
Ability to think critically, logically, and analytically
Demonstrated experience building strong, effective, and trusted relationships
Ability to work effectively with a global matrix business, across multiple geographies and partners while balancing competing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Execute global firm-wide talent initiatives with excellence in a fast paced, global corporate environment
Ability to use HR reporting & analytics in generating insights and presenting findings back to the business, as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data

Our hybrid work model
