About this role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Vice President to lead campaigns targeting our asset owner and wealth management audiences within the Aladdin Commercial Marketing team. This role will be responsible for shaping and driving integrated marketing programs that deepen engagement across the Americas, as well as retrofitting a global campaign framework, with a focus on delivering measurable commercial impact. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, digital fluency, and cross-functional leadership to elevate commercial marketing.


In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, Client Management, and other expert teams—to develop and execute campaigns that align with our business goals and client needs. This role requires a strong understanding of omnichannel marketing programs, institutional and wealth client dynamics, product offerings, and data-driven demand generation marketing. In addition, proficiency in leveraging AI-powered tools and analytics to optimize campaign effectiveness, personalize client experiences, and generate actionable insights is essential. The ability to translate complex investment narratives into compelling, client-centric messaging—while harnessing AI to enhance targeting, creative performance, and workflow efficiencies—is a must.

This role will report to the Director, Americas Commercial Marketing.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and lead end-to-end project management for Aladdin’s asset owner and wealth campaigns, ensuring cross-functional alignment, timely execution, and performance tracking across all channels and deliverables
  • Own the marketing roadmap for our asset owner campaign for Aladdin, as well as our campaign for Aladdin Wealth, inclusive of events, sponsorships, and thought leadership activations
  • Provide strategic leadership across the Americas Commercial Marketing team, championing the adoption of AI‑powered tools and workflows contributing to broader Aladdin and BlackRock marketing priorities and cross-regional alignment
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Client teams to align campaign goals with pipeline acceleration and client engagement metrics, translating AI‑generated insights into actionable strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholder teams to align campaign goals with pipeline acceleration and client engagement metrics
  • Collaborate with Brand, Digital, and Content teams to integrate paid media, social, email, and content programs, utilizing AI to optimize targeting, creative performance, and personalization across the customer journey.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, key events, influential voices, and emerging products to inform strategic planning and market positioning
  • Leverage analytics and performance insights to continuously enhance campaign effectiveness, shape future strategy
  • Clearly communicate marketing impact to stakeholders and elevate your team’s exposure across the business
  • Oversee campaign budgets and resource allocation to maximize ROI and ensure efficient execution
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders on campaign performance.
  • Manage and develop direct reports, guiding teams in embedding AI into campaign planning and execution to elevate performance, consistency, and impact. 

Desired Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing or agency consulting, with a focus on tech/FinTech. Understanding of institutional client segments is a plus.
  • Experience in developing and implementing leading integrated marketing campaigns that drive commercial outcomes--passionate about accelerating marketing’s contribution to pipeline, revenue, and client success.
  • Strong project management skills and proven effectiveness at strategic relationship building across internal and external stakeholders – a team player with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical prowess to optimize marketing’s return on investment based on data and tied to desired business outcomes
  • 5+ years management experience with proven ability to inspire direct reports and elevate team performance
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI‑driven marketing technologies (e.g., predictive analytics, generative AI, personalization engines, or marketing automation platforms) to optimize campaign performance, audience targeting, and content effectiveness across channels.


For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$135,000.00 - USD$180,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
