Team Overview:
As a Product Manager for Aladdin AI, you will collaborate with the AI Product Lead to execute and refine the product vision for AI integration across BlackRock and Aladdin. You’ll be responsible for identifying high-impact opportunities to embed intelligent, automated capabilities throughout the investment process and broader financial services ecosystem. This role involves setting a clear product strategy, defining priorities, and delivering scalable AI products that can be easily adopted across the firm. You will own the product roadmap, working closely with AI Engineering to define and deliver platform capabilities that drive efficiency, innovation, and measurable business value.
You’ll partner across the product teams to identify opportunities and lead quarterly planning, enabling us to deliver on our objectives, and be instrumental in leading key partnerships to unlock scale. Your insights and ability to drive our product forward will help our team deliver world-class AI capabilities in Aladdin and a superb experience for Aladdin users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define & communicate an AI product vision, identifying key opportunities and product solutions. Educate and evangelize product value internally with key product partners.
- Prioritize initiatives to achieve product strategy. Own the prioritization of the backlog, define requirements, map dependencies, mitigate development blockers, and collaborate with platform & partner development teams to define deployment strategy.
- Lead the cross-functional product, design, and development team to deliver AI solutions at scale. Drive user research and actively engage with investment community to acquire feedback that influences product roadmap and improves product value.
- Identify opportunities for AI innovation by applying deep domain expertise in financial services and a strong understanding of emerging AI capabilities to shape forward-looking product strategies.
- Stay up to date on the fast-evolving artificial intelligence space, keeping ahead of trends, and competitive financial capabilities in the fast-evolving AI landscape, ultimately influencing product offering and strategy.

- User Stories & Features for each major product component
- Component Documentation, including Product definition documents, product Roadmaps, Product Increment tear sheets, User Documentation, and demos

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or related fields within engineering, project, or product management roles.
- Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or a comparable quantitative/technical field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, physics, operations research).
- Proven experience working on AI systems, including familiarity with agentic workflows, model training/fine-tuning, and other recent AI frameworks.
- Strong theoretical background in quantitative modeling and AI/ML approaches a plus.
- Experience defining and delivering AI/ML product roadmaps, including feature prioritization, lifecycle management, and cross-functional execution.
- Experience in building production-grade AI/ML solutions at scale a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data science insights into scalable, user-facing product features.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with AI system developers in agile, iterative development environments.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML service offerings.
- Experience in financial services and/or enterprise software platforms.
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and drive clarity in complex problem spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and present technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
