About this role

This position is within the enterprise security team, overseeing a security system, among other responsibilities. We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Access Control Administrator to manage the global administration of clearance configurations and ensure strong governance of approval and certification processes within the AlertEnterprise (AE) automated ticketing system. This role is essential in maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory standards, defining certifiers and approvers, and implementing system configurations to support security and operational effectiveness.

The Access Control Security Systems Administrator will play a pivotal role in maintaining security standards and ensuring efficient, automated workflows within the AE ticketing system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage global clearance configuration within the AE automated ticketing system
  • Ensure all access approvals and certifications adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Define and maintain a structured approval and certification process in collaboration with Legal and Corporate Security teams
  • Configure and optimize the AE system to streamline clearance workflows and enhance automation
  • Monitor and troubleshoot configuration issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to validate security settings, ensuring appropriate system access control
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all configurations, approvals, and certification processes
  • Provide training and support to end-users on clearance configuration procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Security Administration, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in access control configuration, security clearance administration, or enterprise security systems
  • Proficiency with AE automated ticketing systems or similar platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to access governance and security certifications
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage global configurations effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise security platforms such as CCure, Genetec, or Guardian Alert Enterprise
  • Comprehensive understanding of security governance frameworks and best practices
  • Previous experience in a global security or compliance-focused role
  • Proven ability to ensure a streamlined and legally compliant access configuration process on a global scale


For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$85,000.00 - USD$115,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
