About this role
The Aladdin Revenue Marketing Team is looking for an innovative Designer to execute, enrich, and evolve Aladdin’s visual storytelling across in-person and digital experiences. The right candidate will have a strong background in static, motion graphic, and experiential design—expanding the way our brand shows up, while adhering to existing (and future) brand standardsthat translate into bottom-line results. This role reports to the Head of Content & Creative for the Aladdin Business and supports the brand globally across earned, owned, shared, and paid channels.
Responsibilities
Create innovative, remarkable and engaging marketing ideas and design for high profile conferences, product launches, campaigns, presentations, web content, ads, videos, and other marketing materials.
Make a brief come to life, be it static or in motion, 2d or 3D, or in many cases both.
Be a creative pluralist; you will work across digital, offline and experiential marketing.
Ability to create ad-agency-quality ‘Big Ideas’ that entice the target audience and stand us apart from our competitors; bring these ideas to life in bold, unexpected and engaging ways across multiple audience touchpoints.
Expert visual designer, but not just cosmetic design: we need a creative thinker with flair and imagination, an ideas person with a nose for B2B marketing and an eye for detail.
Visual storytelling, turning complex content into simple, beautiful, visual stories.
Comfortable giving/receiving feedback, offering solutions, and adjusting to various priorities.
Qualifications
Exceptional design skills: a storyteller mindset.
5+ years of experience in agency or high-quality internal studio.
Standout portfolio of work and evidence of being author of the idea, not just executing the design.
Undergraduate degree in art direction, design etc, preferred.
Experience working with established brand guidelines.
Software skills: Proficient user of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, 1 or more industry standard animation software, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
‘Second string’ skills (eg UX/UI, photography, illustration, etc) an advantage.
Understanding of financial services an advantage but not pre-requisite.
Dynamic and driven collaborator with a proactive and can-do attitude; comfortable with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
