As part of the Aladdin COO team, the Reporting and Analytics Lead will provide data-driven insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence across the Aladdin business.

Team Overview:

The Aladdin COO team operates at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and operations, driving initiatives and oversight that help shape the future of Aladdin. Collaborate with senior leadership to implement key initiatives in business management, operational efficiency, employee experience, and technology. By optimizing processes, managing budget oversight, liaising with key business partners, and delivering data-driven insights, the COO team ensures Aladdin continues to scale effectively while delivering value to BlackRock and its global client base.

About the Role

TheReporting and Analytics Leadwill develop and implement advanced reporting solutions to support both strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the Aladdin business. This role will drive the creation and distribution of dashboards, reports, and automated analytics that serve a diverse set of stakeholders—including senior leadership, business management teams, and operational teams across functions such as sales, product, and engineering.

This role requires bothdeep technical expertise in data visualization and analyticsas well asstrong collaboration skillsto ensure that reporting solutions are widely adopted and drive meaningful action across the organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable constructing complex reporting artifacts, integrating data from different sources, and continuously improving reporting processes for scalability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage high-impact dashboards and reportsusing Power BI and other visualization tools, delivering insights that support both executive decision-making and day-to-day business operations.
  • Own end-to-end monthly reporting processes, including constructing complex reports and artifacts that synthesize financial, operational, and business performance data for various audiences.
  • Scale and cascade reporting solutionsacross multiple teams, ensuring that different business functions have access to actionable insights tailored to their needs.
  • Automate and optimize reporting workflows, integrating data from enterprise systems (e.g., IBM Cognos TM1, Workday) and implementing automation for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure data integrity and governanceby maintaining data hygiene, overseeing regular refresh cadences, and recommending improvements to taxonomy and tracking.
  • Enhance the metrics reporting ecosystemby developing and maintaining data models, integrating various data sources, and improving reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal data science and analytics teams to bring to bear proven methods, improve internal tools, and improve process automation improvements.
  • Potential to lead and mentor a small teamof data reporting analysts, shaping the long-term evolution of the reporting function.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 6-8+ years’ experience in data analytics and reporting with a track record of career growth and recent ownership of significant, complex work
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or diploma in business, data analytics, or related field a nice-to-have
  • Strong proficiency in visualization tools, e.g., Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Tableau
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (functions, macros, vba, etc); familiarity with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other MS applications
  • Experience with workflow automation tools and/or low-code platforms a nice-to-have
  • Deeply familiar with data analytics, modeling, and statistics
  • Organized and detail orientated; obsessed with data hygiene
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team with members in various regions

  • Analytical Rigor & Problem-Solving – Strong analytical approach with the ability to assess data trends, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Technical Excellence in Reporting & Visualization– Deep expertise in designing and maintaining intuitive, high-impact dashboards and reports, leveraging tools such as Power BI, DAX, and other visualization platforms.
  • Data Governance & Accuracy– Meticulous attention to data integrity, taxonomy, and hygiene, ensuring reports and insights are consistently reliable and actionable.
  • Multi-Functional Collaboration – Ability to partner effectively across diverse teams—including finance, sales, engineering, and technology—to align reporting solutions with business objectives.
  • Process Automation & Efficiency – Proactive approach towards optimizing and automating reporting workflows, improving speed and scalability of insights delivery.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adapt to shifting business priorities.
