Business Unit Overview:
Marketing and Sales Operations team (MSO) sits within the US Wealth Advisory business and works with Product Marketing, Retirement and Global Marketing teams.
MSO support model revolves around propagating ‘Digital First’ mentality and enabling scaled Digital experience through below offerings:
- Marketing Material Development and Updates
- Firm-approvals of material
- Automation Platforms
- Content Delivery & Management
- Reporting & Oversight
- Sales Support & Miscellaneous
Job Purpose/Background:
This role will be focused on leading the firm-approval process for US Wealth Advisory marketing material. The candidate will need to master the decisioning process around priorities across Wealth, Strategic Accounts and other USWA partners to align with the organization’s Product and Portfolio Framework and each individual wealth manager’s product strategies.
The candidate will have the ability to lead several simultaneous projects to completion in a timely manner, an eye for engaging design of the pieces and the ability to work across several internal groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead firm-approvals spreadsheet used by USWA teams to see progress and prioritization of content.
- Learn how to submit, monitor and respond to material updates using the 4U platform.
- Schedule regular meetings with USWA partners to understand needs and align prioritization of submissions in the queue.
- Attend any new trainings or webinars on improvements to the 4U platform.
- Be the expert on product and firm strategy to ensure most commercial marketing materials are reviewed first.
- Recognize each firm’s requirements for submissions and approvals (product lines accepted, maximum submission limits each month and timelines)
- Determine if accessibility remediation is required before 4U submission.
- Evaluate processes, and procedures for inefficiencies, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Manage workload to successfully meet set timelines and assist other team members when required.
Qualifications:
- Post-Graduate – MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Communications, Journalism.
- Experience/working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Power BI, VBA, SQL, Data Analytics and CMS tool (like TeamSite) will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience in the investment/asset management industry a plus. Understanding of asset management industry.
- Excellent demeanor, team player, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners and collaborators.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external groups at all levels and across multiple functions.
- Strong familiarity with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexible and comfortable with change, and prepared for a fast-paced, constantly evolving workflow.
- Tech-savvy and eager to harness new techniques to improve reporting workflows.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with a focus on time management.
- Values the importance of quality data and strives to maintain its integrity in the system.
- Strong critical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Flexibility of shift timings.
