Our Investment Accounting Group provides accounting and regulatory data services to insurance clients. Our accounting services include the reconciliation, tracking, accounting for assets, along with preparation and oversight of monthly packages and regulatory schedules.
The Role:
The eFront Migrations Specialist will handle accounting and reporting tasks. They will support the transition of portfolios from legacy systems to eFront in the alternative assets space. This role is on the forefront of promoting process refinement and automation efforts to alternative assets. It also contributes to the successful adoption of accounting policy modifications for Alternatives, while supporting BlackRock’s insurance clients alongside broader organizational aims.

Key responsibilities include:
Migration & Implementation
Carry out end-to-end migration activities: data extraction, transformation, and loading into eFront.
Validate accounting bases (GAAP, STAT, IFRS) and configure portfolio structures.
Ensure historical performance data is loaded for compliance and reporting.
Governance, Process, and Controls
Maintain detailed migration documentation and runbooks for repeatable frameworks.
Ensure consistent process and control across the client base.
Support change management, logging and tracking enhancements or issues.
Stay ahead of regulatory changes and communicate implications across multiple accounting bases.
Partner with Investment Controllers, IA Operations, and external consultants to ensure seamless execution.
Experience Required:
Understanding of investment accounting product mechanics including debt instruments, equities and derivatives
Minimum 1 year of confirmed experience in investments/markets with degree in relevant field
Ability to prioritize multiple request and time management
Teachable to learn new processes and adapt to changing environment
Degree in Finance or Accounting or other related field
Understanding of GAAP /IFRS Accounting Standards will be a plus
