About this role
The Latin America group serves both Institutional and Wealth clients, including corporate, public and industry pension plans; insurance companies; third-party mutual funds; endowments; foundations; charities; corporations; official institutions; banks and all other financial intermediaries throughout the region.
Professionals within the team work together to deliver a full range of asset management, risk management and advisory services relevant to clients' investment needs. Unified under one global client platform, individual client businesses are accountable for client relationships and distribution of products and services and are supported by a centralized marketing function which ensures consistency globally.
Role Description
As an Analyst, you will provide BlackRock asset management capabilities to financial intermediaries as investment recommendations to their clients. Develop expertise on the entire range of investment solutions available, which includes money market funds, open-end funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), managed accounts and alternative investments (real estate investments, hedge funds and private equity).
Responsibilities
- Driving sales of BlackRock products by developing deep relationships with financial advisors at multiple key distribution partner firms.
- Developing a deep understanding of the varying Advisor intermediated business models within these distinct firms and align a sales strategy around this framework.
- Producing expected sales results and activity levels as defined by team leadership.
- Positioning and differentiating BlackRock and our products against competitor firms and their products.
- Presenting effectively in one-on-one, large groups and conferences
- Working with Blackrock internal partners and resources (marketing, product specialists, sales desk, etc...) to augment efforts in the field.
- Demonstrate analytical rigor to help clients build better portfolios
- Understand client needs and market trends, provide ideas and solutions to intermediaries to maximize sales
- Responsible for providing performance data to clients, answering clients questions / queries on products and other sales related matters
- Work closely with Marketing Team for new products and marketing campaigns launches and to build out appropriate messaging to client base
- Understand the competitive landscape and position
BlackRock products to grow market share. - Maintain an accurate and current log of all activities and opportunities in relevant CRM system.

Skills And Qualifications
- 1-2 years as an experienced investment professional is preferred (not mandatory)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, etc.)
- Strong overall sales acumen and analytical skills.
- Highly proficient in explaining markets and in positioning/ blending the benefits of active portfolios, ETFs, and model portfolios..
- Ambitious work ethic, professional disposition, detail-oriented and a passion for investments.
- Ability to build relationships and influence people at all levels and functions; can work through difficult problems and in conflict situations.
- Flexibility in work schedule and willingness to travel when required
- Bachelor's degree required, fluency in English is required
- Strong team player, ability to muck in when required, collaborate internally to utilize BlackRock's resources
