About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating carried interest models, preparing monthly financial reporting packs, assisting with short-term forecasts, tracking performance fees, and providing support for pro forma financials. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various business stakeholders.
The Team
The Private Debt Team is looking for a Financial Analyst who can use their skills, enthusiasm, and passion to grow professionally in our team. The Financial Analyst will plan, prioritize, resource, execute, and finalize projects within the given deadlines and budget. They will also work with senior management and stakeholders to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with the business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carried Interest Model Updates: Perform quarterly updates on all PD fund carried interest models and compare them against EWM values for approximately 50 funds.
- Monthly Financial Reporting Packs: Update monthly packs for allocations not tracked within the finance system TM1.
- Short Term Forecasts: Assist with generating quarterly forecasts through year-end to be provided to business leads.
- Performance Fee Tracking: Participate in monthly performance fee forecast updates and ensure the latest thinking is summarized for business stakeholders and Bus Ops teams.
- Pro Forma Financials Assistance: Assist in the preparation of combined statements and recalculation of key metrics for requests related to pro forma financials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CV must be in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TM1 or similar finance systems.
- Knowledge of carried interest models and performance fee tracking.
- Familiarity with pro forma financials and acquisition-related financial analysis.
