BlackRock’s Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) team is the investment group at the heart of BlackRock's portfolio construction, asset allocation, and active management ecosystem. MASS draws on the full toolkit of index, factor, and alpha-seeking investment capabilities to deliver precise investment outcomes and innovative alpha insights. Our team of 550+ multi-asset investment professionals construct active asset allocation strategies and whole portfolio solutions across a wide spectrum of commingled funds, separate accounts, model portfolios, and outsourcing solutions in the wealth and institutional channels. Currently, MASS handles over $1 trillion in assets and has a strong presence in the Americas, EMEA and throughout Asia Pacific.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support executive team members in the United States to enable their leadership and management of the MASS business

  • Proactively manage complex diary scheduling liaising with other senior Administrative Assistants as required

  • Ability to work across different time zones and regions within the United States to ensure timely project delivery and support

  • Communicate effectively in multiple languages, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear and concise interactions with global stakeholders

  • Handle travel planning and bookings including airline reservations, hotel accommodations, car service arrangements and similar as needed

  • Collaborate and partner with other administrative assistants within Multi Asset Strategies & Solutions to ensure team coverage as needed

  • Build relationships with internal support functions to navigate the firm effortlessly on behalf of Multi Asset Strategies & Solutions

  • Assist on special projects for the team and staff you support

  • Provide ad-hoc or temporary coverage for select MASS executive team members in EMEA if needed, acting as backup support outside of the EMEA admin team

About you:

  • Experience in proactively supporting senior leaders and collaborating with others

  • Working fluency in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication with global stakeholders

  • A track record in thinking ahead and anticipating actions and outcomes

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and interact with senior management under demanding conditions

  • Experience working with concur for expenses and online travel bookings

  • Developed time management skills and an ability to switch between tasks quickly at short notice

  • Highly professional, organized and committed to excellence

  • Curious to challenge and dig in when you find a problem and follow through to a solution

  • Excellent attention to detail and a desire to achieve the highest standard

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal guidance

  • Able to build trusting relationships quickly

  • Excellent phone manners

  • Minimum five years of corporate administrative experience in roles that interfaced with external clients and executive management.

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • Effective Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
