About this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of research programme: ownership across the annual research laydown and consulting on research methodologies and best practice.
  • Project management: manage each research study with agency partners and internal teams. Writing effective research briefs, managing stakeholder reviews and briefing into the agency. Managing agency partners through the research and to debrief.
  • Agency management: point of contact for our creative & strategic agency who manage our research projects. Devise with the agency which research agencies to use for specific projects and align on expectations. Represent iShares objectives throughout the research briefing process, from recruiting the correct sample through to asking the right questions.
  • Research analysis: analyse and interrogate the debriefs to draw key insights against the commercial marketing objectives and communicating these to internal teams. Coordinate feedback towards the results and review findings based on these.
  • Partner closely with internal teams: understand the marketing objectives & strategy aligned to each project to construct an effective research study and be able to communicate the key findings. Build strong relationships with central teams and local marketing managers.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 7+ years marketing research experience, ideally in a similar industry
  • Experience within the financial industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of the B2C audience for personal finance and investing is advantageous
  • Ability to lead a function and multiple projects independently
  • Strong understanding for research methodologies (quant and qual), creating research briefs and using research dashboards
  • Analytical skills to interpret the findings, question discrepancies and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, drive forward key initiatives and manage workflow on simultaneous projects
