Serving as aProduct Manager within this dynamic group puts you at the center of this evolution, empowering you to help define top priorities for the business and work seamlessly across engineering, sales, and client engagement functions.

Our Private Markets product managers play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of solutions for our clients and for BlackRock. In thisrole, you willbe responsible forourWhole Portfolioplatform—defining how webring together public andprivatemarketsdata sets to powerportfolio management and operationalprocessesleveragingthe best ofeFrontandAladidn. You will engage witha range of partners and stakeholders across theeFront+ Aladdin estate to define andexecute onBlackRock’s Whole Portfoliovision.

Responsibilities of the Reporting Product Manager

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product strategy, vision, and roadmap, aligning development with businessobjectivesand client needs.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, supporting cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Support throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Articulate business value and product intent todeliveryteams to ensure understanding and effective execution of new releases and features.

  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, andidentifyopportunities for product enhancement and innovation.

  • Integrate client feedback and requests into product planning and development processes to continuously improve the offering.

  • Lead product governance forums and working groups, coordinate agendas, and summarize decisions, next steps, and product readiness for stakeholders.

  • Generate, develop, and prioritize new product ideas, ensuring alignment with keyobjectivesfor the product line and BlackRock.

  • Define feature requirements, use cases, user stories, user journey maps, process documents, and data definitions to guide complete product delivery.

  • Plan, manage, and communicate release schedules, including tracking phases, milestones, features, user stories, and dependencies within and across releases.

  • Partner with engineering todeterminetechnical solutions and delivery timelines.

  • Collaborate with User Experience teams to harmonize product designacrosseFront+ Aladdin.

Qualifications for thisRole: 

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in product management, engineering,client implementations, or other private markets and/or technicalrole.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the confidence to present information and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and to clients.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfort working in ambiguous situations and proactively addressing complex business challenges.

  • Ability tooperateindependently and take initiative in driving product strategy forward.

  • Sound commercial judgment, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and deliver results efficiently.

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to lead and influence within cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’sdegreerequired.

Our hybrid work model
