Job Overview
This is a leadership role in our Investor Data team. This role will oversee and manage Preqin’s Investor dataset in EMEA region, which includes ensuring the coverage of the alternative assets industry is accurate, timely and comprehensive. The individual will act as a dataset authority, driving innovation across the data lifecycle through latest technologies, building scalable quality frameworks and leading high-performing global teams. Success depends on deep collaboration with our product and sales teams to understand client requirements as well as strong people leadership and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure data collected by the team is of high quality and comprehensive and meets client expectations
- Implement practices to improve quality measurement and feedback processes
- Collaborate with product teams and data governance units to align methodologies
- Act as an authority on the dataset, providing support for internal and external collaborators
- Look for ways to optimize operations and find new opportunities to upskill team bringing efficiencies
- Lead the day-to-day development of the team, ensuring effective training, adherence to protocols, and maintaining team motivation
- Build exclusive global investor data collection strategies to strengthen the depth, breadth, and differentiation of the our investor dataset
You are a good fit if
- At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in data/financial data services/alternative assets
- Shown ability to build a function from scratch
- Ability to craft, build, manage project, and report on quality holistically
- Consistent record in performance management and building high-performing teams
- Experience in people and project management, including remote management
- Strong operational management skills in a data organization, with attention to detail
- Hands-on, motivational, and entrepreneurial leadership style
- Strategic and critical thinking skills for developing and improving quality processes
- Experience with change management in quality and training processes
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with high-level executives
- Proficiency in English for business purposes
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of business intelligence systems like Power BI/Metabase
