Role Overview

The Head of Sales Operations is pivotal to Aladdin’s sales function. Managing a team of Sales Operations Executives, they are responsible for leading the integration of Aladdin and Preqin’s sales operations, providing critical business intelligence to the C-Suite, and ensuring adherence to best practices sales and operational process across the business. As a key member of the sales and COO leadership teams, this position will have a mandate for change, delivering process improvements and creating value for the business to drive growth. Key Responsibilities

• Sales process optimization - Become a subject matter expert of the sales cycle from lead generation to contract win, identifying and implementing areas of optimization and automation to drive operational efficiency and sales and marketing productivity.
• Own the sales funnel workflow in CRM. Proactively identify data requirements and operational challenges, recommend solutions, and action improvements.
• Data governance and analytics for revenue growth – Develop a governance framework to ensure data hygiene and consistency in CRM, including system-enforced restrictions, data quality checks, and sales reporting.
• Partner with the Sales leadership team to minimize sales admin tasks, design regular reporting and sales analytics requirements on activity, pipeline, forecasting and pricing.
• Technology stack - Lead the strategy for and engagement with the sales technology stack, including Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce CRM integration.
• Sales planning and strategy – develop fair and achievable annual sales quotas aligned with Aladdin’s growth strategy, the available market opportunity and product readiness.
• Project team hiring needs based on sales goals and market potential.
• Pricing strategy - Track and review the performance of packaging and pricing structures, ensuring controls over discount levels are adhered to, and suggesting areas for the pricing team to investigate.

• Cross-team collaboration - serve as a cross-departmental conduit between the sales team and other departments (Product, Finance, Billing, Marketing) to ensure data quality and completeness, as well as tech stack and data flow are fully aligned with any upstream and downstream processes.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• 10+ years in B2B Market Intelligence or SaaS.

• 5+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations and/or Enablement roles.

• Proven success in leading sales teams and exceeding targets.

• Strong project management and sales process optimization skills.

• Advanced CRM (Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel skills.

• Analytical skills to turn data into actionable insights.

• Knowledge of sales forecasting techniques and methodologies.

• Demonstrable interest in financial markets and data preferred.

• Client-facing and team leadership experience desirable.

• Effective in a global organization, self-starter in dynamic environments.

• Superior communication and presentation skills.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving approach.
