About this role
About Aladdin Data (AD)
Data is at the heart of Aladdin and increasingly the ability to acquire, govern, analyze, and derive insights from data is a key differentiator for BlackRock and our clients. The Aladdin Data (AD) team is responsible for the firm's data ecosystem, ensuring data can be discovered, trusted, accessed, and used effectively across investment, operations, analytics, AI, and client solutions.
Our mission is to build and operate the capabilities, governance, and workflows that enable data producers and consumers across BlackRock to efficiently share and leverage high-quality data at scale.
AD supports four strategic outcomes that together advance BlackRock's data strategy:
Deliver high-quality, trusted data products and services that power investment processes, operational workflows, and client solutions.
Enable data producers to publish and distribute data through a scalable marketplace, making both Aladdin and BlackRock-generated content easily discoverable and consumable.
Provide well-governed data that fuels AI, analytics, and emerging digital capabilities across the firm.
Offer common standards, tooling, governance, and reusable services that allow teams to focus on creating business value rather than building bespoke data infrastructure.
The team builds common standards, governance, tooling and reusable services that help data producers publish high-quality data and help consumers find, trust and use it without building bespoke infrastructure.

Support the delivery of trusted, well-governed and AI-ready data products that can be reused across the firm.
Represent Technology & Operations data interests within enterprise governance, regulatory and data strategy initiatives.
Help shape the long-term vision and operating model of the BlackRock Data Office.
