About this role
Who we are:
BlackRock’s Global Product Solutions business (GPS) was formed in 2024 to innovate, curate and commercialize the full breadth of our investment platform to meet client needs, wherever they are. We do this by innovating the next wave of products and solutions, accelerating iShares adoption, sharpening our focus on active, scaling private markets and our transition businesses, and driving focus on commercial priorities through product prioritisation.
Within the GPS organisation is the EMEA COO team, which is accountable for core business management activities (includes headcount, financial discipline and talent strategy), business governance and oversight, driving operating efficiencies as well as leading strategic cross-functional projects. The team has a broad remit and partners with teams across GPS and the firm.
Your Role:
As an Associate, you’ll bring strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, navigating the organisation with confidence and resourcefulness. Your ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups will be key to your success.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with senior management to execute strategic priorities and key initiatives, ensuring delivery against milestones and business objectives
- Support the effective functioning of the GPS business, including headcount and budget strategy, and coordination with partner groups and global teams
- Drive governance, reporting, and control frameworks to ensure transparency, risk mitigation, and strong operational discipline
- Develop recurring performance and strategy reporting, tracking initiative progress, key risks, and investment outcomes for senior stakeholders
- Gather, synthesize, and translate complex information into clear, impactful executive-level presentations and materials
- Scope, plan, and execute multiple, often quick turnaround projects to drive operational efficiency, automation, and process enhancement
- Facilitate regional forums and leadership reviews, ensuring clear ownership of actions and accountability for execution
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to enable alignment, manage dependencies, and drive delivery across teams
- Manage strategic fee agreements process, coordinating across stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
- Champion GPS talent and culture initiatives in partnership with HR and senior leadership
What You Offer:
- Strong understanding of the asset management industry, BlackRock’s business and operating model
- Proven project, relationship and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence and partner effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience producing executive level, management quality materials
- Structured thinker able to synthesise complex information and turn insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Experience supporting governance, oversight and risk management frameworks in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight timelines
- Digitally fluent, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills and the ability to leverage emerging tools (including AI) to drive efficiency and quality
- Proactive ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ approach to deliver results

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
