About this role

Business Unit Overview

Fundamental Equities
Fundamental Equities sits within BlackRock’s Portfolio Management Group (PMG), which encompasses Fundamental and Systematic investing across Fixed Income, Equities and Multi-Asset Strategies.

The Fundamental Equities business manages over $200bn in assets under management across 75+ strategies and more than 200 investment professionals globally. Our teams use traditional bottom-up analytics to identify high-conviction investment ideas and construct deliberate, diversified portfolios across regions, styles and market capitalizations.

Through rigorous research, disciplined portfolio construction and the integration of technology and data-driven insights, Fundamental Equities aims to deliver consistent long-term outcomes for clients. The platform serves a global client base across retail, institutional and intermediary channels and represents a core component of BlackRock’s active equity offering.

Product Strategy in Fundamental Equities - Global Emerging Markets
The Global Emerging Markets platform manages $12bn in assets under management, spanning 14 strategies across broad emerging markets, regional, and single country exposures. This includes both long-only and long-short solutions managed across Hong Kong and London.

Product Strategy is a critical component of the investment platform. Product Strategists partner closely with Portfolio Managers and act as the link between investment teams and distribution. They serve as specialized sources of product, portfolio, and market knowledge for both internal and external stakeholders.

Across the platform, Product Strategy encompasses multiple tracks, including client-facing Product Strategists, Core Product Strategy professionals focused on scalable servicing and content production, and Platform Strategists focused on building system leverage, workflow innovation and data infrastructure. Together, the function is responsible for investment communication, commercial enablement, client servicing excellence and the development of scalable processes and tools that support growth across the business.
