About Aladdin Wealth and Product Delivery
Aladdin Wealth is BlackRock’s platform for wealth management firms, delivering risk analytics, portfolio construction tools, and scalable technology to empower advisors and their clients.
Product Delivery function plays a critical role in ensuring the successful evolution of Aladdin Wealth’s product capabilities across global markets and its efficient delivery and implementation across clients.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Vice President to join the Product Delivery team within the Aladdin Wealth Product Organization.
The Product Delivery team serves as a key coordinator and liaison between client-facing teams and product managers, ensuring seamless governance, strategic oversight, tracking, and execution of the product roadmap, and acting in close partnership with other Aladdin Wealth teams, both within and outside the Product organization.
The successful candidate will be the first APAC member of Product Delivery team, with responsibilities over the entire APAC region, including clients in Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and Hong Kong.
They will be the face of the Product Organization to the Aladdin Wealth APAC business development and relationship management teams, leveraging their location in Hong Kong and local knowledge of the market to influence the product direction and capture local market needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Governance & Roadmap Execution
Operate as a clearing house between client teams and product management teams, to ensure roadmap intake requests are properly vetted and documented and are onboarded according to the established governance framework.
Coordinate and moderate operative level as well as senior meetings, including agenda preparation, and documentation of the outcome. These meetings constitute core components of the AWT governance framework and shape the high-level evolution of the product roadmap, therefore high attention to details, adequate planning and organization are a key requirement for the candidate, as well as the ability to navigate complex dynamics and manage multiple stakeholders with different priorities at the same time.
Partner with Product Management teams to ensure approved initiatives are actioned, cross-pillar ownership is assigned, and records are maintained in good order. Collaborate to confirm development timelines and track milestone progress on an ongoing basis, navigating a complex and fast environment.
Actively participate in peer review sessions with other Product teams as well as Client teams, to align product requirements and strategic roadmap solutions, short term and long term.
Feature Testing & Deployment
Oversee final testing of new product features before they are made available to Client teams and subsequent configuration in client environments.
Product Evolution, Delivery & Commercial Offering
Support Product Leaders in shaping our evolving commercial offering, to offer tangible and pragmatic solutions to client teams and empower the sales processes and the subsequent configuration of the Aladdin Wealth platform for our clients, prioritizing scalable solutions, efficiency and product features that can address and anticipate market trends.
Oversee the deployment and configuration of features in demo environments (both back-end and front-end).
Ensure demo sites reflect the latest product evolution and newly released features and are maintained over time, to keep the pace of a quickly evolving financial industry.
Skills and Qualifications
Deep understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
Proven experience in product delivery, implementations, or governance roles within a technology or financial services environment.
Very strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities at the same time, navigating a complex environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.
Previous experience working with or within cross-functional teams including Relationship Management, Sales Engineering, Relationship Management, and Product Marketing. The ability to build strong collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders and to work in full partnership with them, is a must for this role.
Strong attention to detail, organization, creative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong knowledge of the financial industry and ability to anticipate and navigate relevant market trends. Familiarity with wealth management platforms, risk analytics, or enterprise software is a plus.
Technical skills such as the ability to configure front-end and back-end platform components as well as coding skills are a strong plus.
