About this role
We are recruiting for a passionate, motivated Talent Mobility professional to join the Talent Mobility function in HR at BlackRock. This role is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of Talent Mobility for India, including management of the full lifecycle of mobility into India.
BlackRock’s Talent Mobility program encompasses both international assignments and global relocations, along with management of the associated tax and immigration compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Mobility strategy and thought leadership, including policy design/implementation, process enhancements, vendor strategy.
Overall responsibility for the strategy and execution of Talent Mobility in India, including associated relocation, tax and immigration issues
Advisor to the business on mobility policy, costs, immigration, tax and relocation considerations linked to mobility strategy.
Advisor of mobility considerations linked to broader firm strategy in India (e.g., M&A, footprint strategy).
Counselling HR Business Partners, Recruiters and Managers on specific Talent Mobility scenarios and policies (setting expectations, providing advice and guidance to support decision making).
Use data and metrics to identify trends and assess overall effectiveness mobility program for specific business groups.
Support the firm’s global immigration program and aid employees and managers with respect to their visa filings (mobility cases, new hires, students etc.).
Preparing assignment/relocation cost estimates with relocation, tax and social security costs
Generating Talent Mobility Letters based on agreed templates.
Maintaining and updating mobility databases and tax vendor systems
Talent Mobility vendor management and strategy (regular status calls, service critical issues).
Contribute to the strategic development of the Talent Mobility function through ongoing awareness of market trends and execution of the team projects.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master's degree or equivalent experience in business or related field.
6+ years’ experience in Talent Mobility.
Strong subject matter expertise and experience in relocation, international tax, and immigration.
Strong client service ethic and detail orientated.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet required deadlines.
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
Exceptional team-work skills and experience working as part of a distributed team.
Strong problem-solving and critical issue management skills / experience.
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
