About this role

The APAC COO team is dedicated to ensuring that both regional and country platforms operate commercially, smoothly, and efficiently. As partners with the Head of Asia Pacific and senior business leaders, we unlock opportunities to accelerate growth, drive innovation, and lead change. The team conducts detailed resourcing and financial analysis. We translate findings into actionable insights and proactively mitigate risks. We maintain a strong operational focus and advance our talent and culture agenda.

We are growing our presence in India to strengthen partnerships with regional partners, coordinate programs, ensure compliance with local and regional regulations, and deliver technology-enabled optimization. The Business & Risk Management Associate will support core business management functions and monitor risk. They will also coordinate governance activities across the APAC region as well as the APAC client business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee business management activities for the APAC Client Business, including headcount and expense management, onboarding, and new hire training.

  • Coordinate regional risk oversight and governance, such as the Country Control Framework.

  • Lead self-audit processes and ongoing monitoring activities.

  • Conduct due diligence on operating events and support resolution.

  • Facilitate legal and regulatory review processes.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency, centralization, and automation.

Knowledge / Skills

  • 3-5 years’ experience in business management, COO, or related roles within financial services.

  • Commercial outlook with structured problem-solving ability and a proactive, self-starter approach.

  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills; ability to collaborate with key partners to identify and raise risk appropriately.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite; familiarity with automation tools is a plus.
