- Provide oversight of complex corporate action events, applying sound judgment to protect client outcomes and manage operational risk.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for operational issues, stakeholder concerns, and risk events, driving timely and well-informed resolution.
- Lead and strengthen the control environment, ensuring processes are consistently followed, risks are identified early, and documentation supports an audit-ready framework.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on priorities, resolve issues, and support overall client service delivery.
- Drive process improvement and operational efficiency, including the adoption of technology, data solutions, and scalable workflows.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, supporting performance, skill development, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in corporate actions, investment operations, or a related field, including leadership responsibility for teams, processes, or client outcomes.
- Proven ability to manage operational risk and maintain strong controls in a complex, high-volume environment.
- Experience leading and developing teams, with a focus on performance management and talent development.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in managing complex or time-sensitive issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, clients, and operational teams.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience with corporate actions processes across global markets.
- Familiarity with financial messaging standards (e.g., SWIFT corporate actions messages) and custodian workflows.
- Experience working in a multi-client or outsourced operating model.
- Experience contributing to or leading transformation initiatives, including process improvements, system implementations, or operational scaling efforts.
- Familiarity with investment operations platforms or workflow tools (e.g., Aladdin or similar systems).
